Playing Fast and loose with bigger women, and what Sam Cam will be wearing next spring...

The knitwear designer Mark Fast showed his collection on Monday afternoon and while I commend the fact that he continued to use larger models - only two ... Gwyneth was one, bottom left, the other Amber Le Bon, bottom right, which is not exactly huge - I have put a spoke in the works here by saying that this is not the answer. You can not put more girls on the runway and do not dress appropriately to their shape. Leggings, micro mini dresses, sheer fabrics and knits supertight does not flatter anyone, let alone a woman with greater body. I am a little tired of looking at the crotch of girls in all briefs, there was even a skirt with a cutout window so that you could see, yes, her crotch! Curvy bust and hips and belly needs a smart cut, great fabric, tailoring, structure. I think his use of tall girls has caused a huge (Ahem) bad ... it was all a publicity stunt, after all?

The best show of the day was Erdem collection, presented under a tent in a nice place in London. The dresses were beautiful. The collection began with a parade of white dresses with lace and chiffon, followed by short floral dresses with fine embroidery, and touches of red and blue. Printing blouses were really nice ... I have no doubt fan Samantha Cameron - who sent a statement earlier in the day promised his support to LFW, and that she attend the shows next season, I bet she is a little busy with the newborn time - has already placed his order. Topshop boss Philip Green sat first row; expect some sort of connection soon great ...
